The 7th circuit keeps abreast of our civil rights

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — An appeals court has upheld a Florida woman’s right to protest topless.

Elizabeth Book was arrested in Daytona Beach, Fla., in 2004 when she took off her shirt to protest the city’s nudity laws.

Ed: Frankly, I think maybe she should just keep the top on. It’s not like she’s going to ignite a riot or anything with that floppy mess of a rack.
