It’s official, I am going to Hell

Blogging is declared un-Christian according to this religious koo… er official. I do have to admit that he has a point when it comes to my posting on tiny minds.

Blogging “often makes the blogger feel good or makes him feel as if his opinion counts – when it is mostly mindless blather!”

The story from El-Reg:

Blathering on blogs is un-Christian, an Evangelical church has warned.

“Blogging has become a socially accepted practice – just as are dating seriously too young, underage drinking and general misbehaving,” notes the monthly of the Reformed Church of God, Ambassador Youth.

It may be hot there, but we’ll have a lot of company.

  • Blogging certainly is in controversy; however, it is the way of the world. Boeing Company actually turned to blogging to get public opinion and review. In the past Boeing has kept all matters behind closed doors. Blogging has become a way of expression; a way to be creative; a way to create and generate buiness. Blogging is information as well. I don’t see anything un-Christian about it!

  • Ok ya got me going on this now. How in heck can anyone say this is un-Christian? There is debat in anything…. Politics and religion top the list. I think religion is a poor excuse for people to find a reason to get publicity for the church, which is in chaos. How can we sit here and support our churches when we have priests that are child molestors. When nothing else work; try relgion! It’ll cause an impact and you’ll get reaction!

  • You gotta remember — for a lot of “religious people”, it’s not so much about actual doctrine as it is a matter of control.

Since this Church can’t control people’s opinions on the internet or on blogs, it by default is evil.
