If you can’t get a little old lady to hand over her purse when you are wearing a mask and have a 10 inch knife, then you are probably not cut out for a career in armed robbery. And pleading for bus fare is just bad form.

BERLIN (Reuters) – A knife-wielding mugger was reduced to pleading with a pensioner for his bus fare home after she refused to hand over her purse, police in northern Germany said Tuesday.
