Author: … as the first phase of tax season winds down and I attempt to fix the theme of this board. So don’t expect many updates for the next week; I will be taking my son to the aquarium and maritime museum in Long Beach / San Pedro, prodding my web guy to fix this site, and wrap up an audit and a few tax returns.
Thank you for your cards and letters and frankly, your restraint.

Hey, good luck with all that and see ya when you get back. And what is exactly wrong with the theme?
In IE, the top posts don’t appear until the end of the sidebar content. I’m told it has to do with my CSS file, but for the life of me I can’t see what’s wrong with it. New theme incoming anyhow, so all will be well.
Doesn’t bother me, with the exception of my puter at work. All the government puters are IE based, and installing new software is a no-no. I tried to install Firefox and got a nasty reminder from the system administrator.
Hope you two are having fun, big-boy. Say hi to the jellies for me!

We did; a good time was had by all two of us. We went to the Aquarium, then did the tour of the Queen Mary, stayed overnite; went to the Russian Foxtrot-class submarine next door and toured that, then crossed the bridges to San Pedro and toured the LA Maritime Museum.
A lovely couple of days reconnecting with my son.
